Merry Christmas

As has become a tradition of ours over the past few years, we created another video card to celebrate this season with our friends and family. Hope you enjoy!

Wishing you a merry christmas!

It's for real

As if Terah's day job and my job and a half are not enough, Terah's been working on what I've dubbed "the expensive hobby" with a few of his friends on the side. I've never paid much attention to it, but today they noticed a sudden uptick in their online sales and discovered they'd been featured on a legit blog site here. Way to go friends!

One and a half

This is coming late, but Noah is 18 months! One and a half is a study in What-Not-To-Do.

Just this past week, he developed this super frustrating limp-noodle move when you try to pick him up.

He was on my hip the other day and in a split second had grabbed the water pitcher and started pouring water all over the kitchen counter.

Words are coming at rapid speed, and we've heard things from "shoes" to "choo-choo" and "up" amongst all the jibber jabber.

The term NO with a shake of the head and a push away with the hand is used liberally.

But a little boy he is becoming and what a little boy he is!

Parental advice

I have not made any major life decision without consulting my parents.

"I want to go to Penn, the brochure looks nice."
- Um, ok. Then apply to business school.

(two yrs later) "I hate Wharton."
- Then add another major.

"Am I ready to get married?"
- You'll know when you are.

"Should I go to grad school?"
- Do it while you're still young.

"Should I still take the bar exam?"
- None of us want to do this again with you, TAKE THE BAR.

If my relationship with Noah is even half as awesome as mine is with my parents, I hope I can impart some parental wisdom:

- Eating only mac & cheese every day is doable, but really?
- Trust me when I tell you naps are great.
- Peeing on the carpet will only get you so far in life.

When you have a strong willed wife & child

Terah observed he's less tired today because he got to spend the day at work, than yesterday at home with his family. That's why we love him!

Update

Life has been a little out of control around here lately. We joke that for two people who enjoy being lazy, we sure haven't left much room for such a pastime.

But one thing hasn't changed - Noah is still growing and playing!

His determination, love for attention, and silliness now rule the roost around here.

Walking has turned into running, and dropping has turned into throwing.

We love this spunky kid!

Noah's first lego creation

He put this together all by himself!

Inappropriate, but...

This is how we keep him entertained while we get ready for a wedding...

Transition

Summer is coming to a close and so is my time at home. What a sweet year this has been for us.

With everything going on, this blog may sadly be put on the back burner. It has been such a great outlet and I hope to keep it up when I can.

But fear not, for even if the pictures do not make it here, the tickle monster, evening dance parties, and ever-increasing toddler tantrums will continue! And our friend Liz has witnessed these dance parties, they are epic.
