Clueless

Terah: Co-worker's planning a ski trip, you want to go?
Michelle: I don't think you're supposed to ski when you're pregnant. Maybe next Christmas?
Terah: Yeah good idea, kids can start skiing when they're 1 right?

Apparently our kid will miraculously be 1 by next December and be skiing. Yes, we are so ready to be parents.

quintessential day in northern california?

This past week it has been raining non-stop in the Bay Area. For someone who has lived his whole life in the east coast and the past couple of years in Chicago, a few days of rain isn't too big of a deal for me. For the locals? That's a different story. The way the news reports the weather, it makes it seem like a huge blizzard is going to hit. Anyways, I digress.

Yesterday, Michelle and I were able to go to up to San Francisco for the day to meet some new friends and explore the city. We were in Noe Valley/Bernal Heights/Glen Canyon Park area. Then, we drove cross city through the Mission to the Marina. Fortunately for us, it ended up being the one day this week that the rain stopped, the clouds broke, and it was actually sunny. It ended up being a really nice day.

To top it all off, we had dinner at In-N-Out and then dessert at the Krispy Kreme across the street. Heart about to explode, yes? Good day for food? Double yes. See some pictures I took with my camera phone.

The cake says it all

Our awesome friends Alice, Shirwin, and Diana brought over this awesome strawberry cake to celebrate. It was awesome. Have I mentioned how awesome it was? I had two slices.

Awhile ago, both Terah and I had a dream about the baby. We were so excited to tell each other the next morning. Turns out in his dream, it was a boy. In mine, a girl. Both of us were so sure our own dream was a sign from God. Guess Terah's just more holy than me.

We call this his victory pose.

Home

Wow I'm really impressing myself with this sudden diligence in posts. Let's see how long I last!

It took 6 months, but I've finally set up our third home to my satisfaction. Although now we're going to have to totally revamp the second bedroom again. But baby steps... baby steps (no pun intended).

I can do this really awesome trick where I eat and drink a lot and my belly really pops. But haven't remembered to take a picture of that yet. Happy new year!
