18 months

At his last doctor's visit, our doctor commented that this is a "busy" age. Busy is the perfect word for Sam these days.

At 18 months, Sam is just beginning to exert his say, letting us know through high-pitched screams, some sign language, a few words and biting (mainly targeting his brothers), what he wants.

He is our best eater, with a limitless appetite for fruit and yogurt. Sometimes he is the only one who finishes his entire meal without any parental assistance. Drives me crazy.

Whether I like it or not, we are best friends. We must be attached, preferably with him comfortably situated on my hip, at all times.

He fights every. single. diaper. change.

He took his first steps at thirteen months, and absolutely loves plummeting down slides.

This drooly, smiley, cuddly happy boy is growing up fast!

Not necessarily the most efficient method

When Q and U got married

I have to take a moment to document what pretty much was the most amazing event I've attended - the wedding of Q and U. Apparently, they renew their vows every year in kindergarten.

The decorations were fancier than some real weddings

Bowties for the Q's and handmade veils and flowers for the U's

Rings pops were exchanged

Kindergarten is awesome.
