Transition

Summer is coming to a close and so is my time at home. What a sweet year this has been for us.

With everything going on, this blog may sadly be put on the back burner. It has been such a great outlet and I hope to keep it up when I can.

But fear not, for even if the pictures do not make it here, the tickle monster, evening dance parties, and ever-increasing toddler tantrums will continue! And our friend Liz has witnessed these dance parties, they are epic.

We love Sesame Street

Seriously, have you watched it lately? It's pretty awesome.

Five years

Michelle's 5 memorable moments:

1. "It's so beautiful... in my head." - My response to Terah when he tried waking me to see the sunrise in Hana, Maui.

2. Our car being towed in Philly. From our parking spot right in front of our place.

3. Thinking the car fixed itself in Chicago. What were we thinking?

4. After surviving Noah's birth, a hospital aide walked in and said, "Wow it's like a murder scene!"

5. During another long night with Noah, Terah mutters, "this kid is going to be the death of us."

Five years, three states, one monster son and still 0 net worth to our name, I'm glad we still make each other laugh! Especially since you leave your dirty socks a foot from the hamper.

Poop poop

You knew it was only a matter of time before poop would show up on this blog...

Noah is signing "poop" now! We've been intermittently signing to him for awhile, mainly words about eating, without much success. I should have known our skinny minnie would have no interest in anything related to food.

But bowel movements are his forte. After a few weeks of us signing potty, he now shakes his little hand when doing the deed. Sometimes even warning us before. Wow! I'm not sure where we're headed with this new skill, so for now we sign back, nod enthusiastically and say, "that's right! poop poop!"

And here's a bonus picture of our three kids for the weekend - Noah was in heaven. He fed the dogs his toys and left legos for them in their cages.

15 months

Noah is growing up fast! His latest shenanigans involve:

- Collecting rocks.

- Spinning in circles to make himself dizzy.

- Walking carefully up and down the incline leading up to our front door.

- Trying to feed himself rice with a fork. We sure aren't going to inform him there are easier ways.

- Fake closing his eyes before the camera flashes.

- Babbling like he means it.

- Shoving his foot in the book when we're reading. We're still working on our reading skills.

His giggles are pure joy and we can't get enough of this guy!
