How do you tell a child about Easter?

During his morning diaper change, I explained to Noah that Easter is about God's love.

He looked at me with eyes of understanding (not)

Then yanked his pacifier out of his mouth and threw it to the ground. And that was the end of that conversation.

Happy and naked

Five months later and Noah still utterly detests diaper changes. It was one of those days where he had managed to fight his way to standing, and then peed on a toy, that I had no energy left to put his clothes back on. Naked he was and naked he remained.
