The Thanksgiving Bust

Amusement parks are really not my thing, but Noah's love of cars has persisted. So we took them to Disneyland.

Two days of too much fun

Then, we all caught the stomach flu, thanks Disneyland. Just in time to completely miss my extended family's Thanksgiving.

And in the midst of the chaos, my mom also got her purse stolen.

Despite the misery, this week I am still thankful for my resilient family and my rockstar parents, who took the kids when we could barely drag ourselves out of bed. I am thankful I got to witness the pure excitement in one five year old's eyes when he saw his beloved Cars in person. I am thankful for healthy bodies that can recover. As my mom put so wisely, I am thankful we only lost material things and nothing more. My dad claims this will go down as a memorable vacation. Memorable indeed!
