When Q and U got married
I have to take a moment to document what pretty much was the most amazing event I've attended - the wedding of Q and U. Apparently, they renew their vows every year in kindergarten.

The decorations were fancier than some real weddings
A runner covered with "qu" words and Canon in D playing in the background
Bowties for the Q's and handmade veils and flowers for the U's
The principal officiated
Rings pops were exchanged
Kindergarten is awesome.

Happy birthday Max
Max turns three! We are so glad to be celebrating him and the joy he has brought us.
I think it's safe to say everyone in the fam has a soft spot for Max. Sometimes Terah and I have to remind each other not to let him get away with everything when he gives us his cheeky smile. At three, he has developed a streak of mischief. Just the other day, he shoved a piece of rice up his nose. This was after he did the same thing the previous day with a piece of chicken.
Today was a big day for Max, with a party in the morning and lots of attention. After all that excitement, we were getting in the car when he broke out in tears asking for his "Thomas with two wheels." I could not figure out what he wanted, Grandpa's model trains? No. Thomas toy train? No. A train you left at home? No! It finally dawned on me that he was referring to a paper train Noah had colored and given to him this morning for his birthday. I retrieved the scrap paper and this happy boy took his nap with it carefully placed next to his pillow. And that sums up Max. What he treasured the most was a simple paper train from his beloved brother. If there is anyone I quit my job for, it would be for this little boy. We love him so!
